The Philippine Consulate General is pleased to inform the public that Filipinos overseas whose Philippine driver’s licenses have expired may now renew their driver’s licenses through an authorized representative in the Philippines.
This privilege is extended to Filipinos who had valid authentic Philippine driver’s licenses at the time of departure from the country and who are currently staying abroad.

Nannies - Caregivers under the Live-in caregiver program, you are encouraged to get your BC learner's license within the first 3months of your arrival. Once you pass the theory test, you will have to wait one year before you can try the roadtest.
Benefit: If you have the learners you are employable much faster compared to another who does not. I hear many who say " I can't right now, I don't have money for a car" -- ?? Doesn't make sense... License first, then may be a car -- there are employers who will provide you with a vehicle... if the position requires you to drive...
